Hadley-Luzerne Welcomes New High School Principal
LAKE LUZERNE, N.Y. – A new era of leadership has begun at Hadley-Luzerne Junior/Senior High School! The district has officially named Daniel Hamm as the new principal, stepping into the role as of July 1.
With a vision for growth and a passion for education, Hamm is ready to strengthen the school community. “I look forward to building a supportive and dynamic school culture, focusing on curriculum excellence and fostering strong partnerships with families and the community,” Hamm shared in the announcement.
Hamm brings over six years of leadership experience, most recently serving as assistant principal at Queensbury High School. His career began as a science and physical education teacher at Putnam Central School District, giving him a well-rounded approach to education.
A Queensbury resident, Hamm lives with his wife and two children. He steps into the role following Burgess Ovitt, who has transitioned to the position of school superintendent after the departure of Beecher Baker, Jr.
With Hamm’s leadership, Hadley-Luzerne Junior/Senior High is poised for an exciting new chapter, continuing to provide top-tier education to students in Hadley, Lake Luzerne, Town of Day, and Stony Creek.
