Hadley Man Arrested Twice in One Day for DWI
HADLEY, NY – It was a long day for 37-year-old Jeffrey R. Nadeau, who found himself in handcuffs twice in a matter of hours after being arrested for driving while intoxicated (DWI) on October 13th.
According to New York State Police, the first arrest happened around 9:16 AM when troopers responded to Wilton Mountain Road in Corinth, NY for reports of a pickup truck off the roadway. Upon arrival, officers found Nadeau behind the wheel of his vehicle, which had crashed into a utility pole. He was taken into custody and charged with DWI, recording a B.A.C. of 0.17%.
After being issued tickets and released, Nadeau didn’t make it far before getting into trouble again. Just hours later, at 4:30 PM, State Police found him asleep behind the wheel of an SUV on Gailor Road in Wilton. Once again, he was arrested for DWI, this time with a B.A.C. of 0.13%.
Nadeau was ticketed and is scheduled to appear in court this November.
