On April 12, 2024, State Police of Queensbury arrested 71-year-old Cecil Mosher of Lake Luzerne, NY, on a charge of Course of Sexual Conduct Against a Child in the second degree, a class “D” felony.

On April 9, 2024, investigators received information regarding an adult engaging in inappropriate contact with a child in Warren County, NY. The investigation revealed Mosher had reportedly engaged in multiple instances of sexual contact with a child under the age of eleven in Lake Luzerne, NY.

When troopers arrived at Mosher’s trailer to take him into custody, they found him passed out from alcohol, wearing women’s lingerie, with lipstick smeared all over his face and chest. Upon being roused, Mosher, still in a daze, began hysterically accusing the officers of dressing him up in lingerie while slurring his words and attempting to “perform” in their presence.

Mosher was arrested and processed at SP Queensbury before being arraigned at the Warren County Centralized Arraignment Part Court. He was remanded to the Warren County Correctional Facility in lieu of $2,500 cash, $5,000 bond, or a $10,000 partially secured bond.
