Two Men Arrested in Connection with Hollow Road Shootings

SARATOGA, NY — Saratoga Police have arrested two men accused of conspiring with others to carry out shootings at two separate residences.
According to authorities, 28-year-old Alex Shippee and 46-year-old Kenneth Burdick allegedly opened fire on two homes located on Hollow Road in the Town of Day on May 11. Police report that multiple individuals were inside both residences at the time of the shootings, many of whom were asleep.
Despite the severity of the incident, no injuries were reported.
Law enforcement officials have indicated that the duo are known to be armed and dangerous. Officers handled the situation with appropriate caution to ensure public safety.
Shippee and Burdick were each charged with two counts of Reckless Endangerment in the First Degree, both felony offenses. They were released on appearance tickets.
Investigators believe the two men may have acted in coordination with others. The investigation remains ongoing, and additional arrests are anticipated.
